Research interests: Emission-line galaxies, high-redshift universe, evolution of chemical systems, effects of catalysis in such systems.

Current research: Right now I'm involved in two very different projects. One of those projects is related to the study of emission-line galaxies. We're using a large telescope and a set of different filters to detect these galaxies and study their luminosity. This information provides insight into the processes that are happening inside galaxies, such as star formation. I'm also working on a project for studying the evolution of simple chemical systems. We're computationally simulating systems of polymers, and analyzing how they combine into larger chains of monomers, or split into simpler polymers under different environmental conditions. We're especially looking into how selection occurs within these systems, and how special properties of some polymers such as catalytic effects or stability affect the system.
