New paper on distinguishing life from non-life, by characterizing life's "Informational Architecture"
The Emergence@ASU group has a new paper up on the arxiv preprint server titled "The Informational Architecture of the Cell" which has been submitted to Phil. Trans A. The paper proposes using biology as a means to inform new physics and suggests potential roads to quantify distinctive features of biological systems in terms of their informational structure.
