Education: BS in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China Current Research: Yanbo Zhang is a first year PhD student in the School of Earth and Space Exploration at Arizona State University. His research interest consists primarily of trying to understand “special scales” in our world. Why do atoms exist? Why do molecules exist? And, why is the notion of a "thing" a useful concept? In addition, he is working on exploring the origin of life using chemical reaction networks. Personal: Outside of his primary research, Yanbo enjoys studying online social networks and ancient music history. |
